At Bay Seniors, we are all volunteers! It is only with the support of our members who volunteer that we are able to offer the programs and services we do. From working in the seniors’ information centre to repairing members’ homes, from board and committee work to administrative support, there are many ways to become involved. We greatly appreciate the time and contributions of our volunteers!

To volunteer you must become a member of Bay Seniors. There is no age restriction for joining. As a member, you will be covered by our comprehensive insurance policy and receive the benefits of membership.

Do you have some extra energy on the weekend to work with our Brush and Tree Removal team? This program helps other Bay Seniors members by removing fallen trees or brush that may be interfering with the use of driveways, outbuildings or yards. Bay Seniors is 100% volunteer-run and we require a steady influx of volunteers to operate. We have an urgent need for a volunteer recruiter to help promote positions to our members, respond to volunteer inquiries, and match people with available positions. This position is suited for someone who is outgoing and who enjoys getting to know others. Work is done at home, on one’s own time, 5-10 hours per month.
