Gavin and Sons Renovations Ltd.

Working with 30 years of experience as a builder and specializing in solid hardwood projects such as custom furniture, cabinetry, millwork, doors and windows, etc.  Specializing in custom doors and windows, and heritage restoration work which require an expert level of understanding in wood movement and traditional wood joinery.  Gavin and Sons Renovations use traditional techniques with modern and traditional tools to achieve authentic results for heritage restorations.

Past projects include the million dollar heritage restoration of The Halifax Club that was built in 1862 with work starting in 2015.  Recent projects include building and installing a set of white oak main entry doors built to heritage standards for the 146 year old St. John’s Anglican church in Peggy’s Cove.  Other work includes unique finely crafted cabinetry, counters and interiors in commercial establishments and residential homes – all requiring years of experience and craftsmanship.
