Emergency and Disaster Services
In partnership with first responders, emergency managers, public officials, and in collaboration with other voluntary sector organizations, the Canadian Red Cross may provide emergency and disaster services such as emergency lodging, reception and information, emergency food, emergency clothing, personal services and family reunification services. If you have been affected by a personal disaster, such as a house fire, contact us at 1-800-222-9597.

Courses develop vital life-saving knowledge and skills essential for those looking to meet a variety of workplace requirements up to professional first responders, become a babysitter, learn about psychological first aid training, or become a Red Cross instructor
The Canadian Red Cross Health Equipment Loan Program (HELP) provides Canadians with short-term loans of health equipment on a donation basis.
The Friendly Calls program matches people over the age of 18 with trained Red Cross personnel who connect with them regularly to check-in, provide emotional support, encourage healthy coping strategies, and suggest well-being resources and community connections to other existing services.
The Canadian Red Cross Restoring Family Links program helps people in Canada re-establish contact with immediate family members after separation due to armed conflict, natural disaster, migration and other humanitarian crises.
