Party at the Market

Bay Seniors is teaming up with the Tantallon Village Farmers Market and other friends to offer a fun flea market on August 9, from 2 to 6 pm, as a companion event to the Tuesday-afternoon farmers’ market.
The farmers market is now in full swing, with lots of vendors offering lots of wonderful things to buy, and August 9 is also the Tantallon Village Farmers Market’s 10th anniversary!
Across Sonny’s Road, at the Community Enterprise Centre, check out our terrific nothing-but-the-best flea market, which includes kitchen items, vintage toys, collectible tins, tools, vinyl records, small furniture, vintage and contemporary jewellery, books, brand-new art cards with works by local artists, and more. Proceeds from the Bay Seniors flea market tables will go to support the work of Bay Seniors and the St. Margaret’s Bay Food Bank.
Grab some prepared food from a market vendor and take a seat at the CEC to enjoy music by Brian C Folk Music.
Note: Purchases can be made at the flea market at the CEC by cash only. The Tantallon Village Farmers Market now offers Market Dollars (photo, above). Buy these by etransfer or credit at the Lodestone Soap/Heppy Pies booth near the market entrance and use them just like cash at all market vendor locations.
